At Yrkesgymnasiet, students spend more than half of their high school time as apprentices at real companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Teddie Hedberg is in his second year of the Sales and Service program at Yrkesgymnasiet V\u00e4sby. He dreams of becoming a real estate agent, and through the school’s program, he is able to fully pursue that dream. He is completing his apprenticeship (APL) at Notar Real Estate in Sollentuna. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Teddie shadows the agents in the office, learning about the administrative aspects of sales and participating in practical tasks such as property viewings, client meetings, and contract signings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In short, he gets a full view of everything that happens during an agent’s typical workday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 “It\u2019s extremely educational, and I\u2019m very grateful to be in such a unique and interesting place,” says Teddie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Philip Kujanp\u00e4\u00e4, franchisee and real estate agent at Notar, enjoys watching Teddie grow into the role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2013 “The best part is seeing how Teddie develops with us,” he says. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a mentor, Philip expects the apprentice to show interest in the workplace and a genuine desire to learn. This hasn\u2019t been a problem for Teddie, who understands how valuable his time at the firm is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\u2019s gaining a deeper understanding of the real estate profession and is getting a true, comprehensive picture of all the aspects involved. It\u2019s a big step closer to his dream. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
